Yuroz retrospective 1988-2008″ to open at the Coral Springs Museum of Art

CORAL SPRINGS, FL — The Coral Springs Museum of Art welcomes an exquisite collection of select works from artist Yuroz. The 10-week exhibition will run through November and will showcase Yuroz’s oil paintings, line drawings, charcoals and sculptures spanning 20 years from 1988 to 2008. The collection demonstrates both the evolution of Yuroz’s artistry as well as his artistic messages of peace, love and tolerance, which have remained constant themes throughout the artist’s work.

After a highly successful showing of the aritist’s United Nations Human Rights Mural in 2004, Coral Springs Museum of Art Director Barbara O’Keefe invited Yuroz to share more of his work with the South Florida community.

“We are pleased and excited to welcome Yuroz back to the Coral Springs Museum of Art and the South Florida community to share his art and his passion,” O’Keefe says. “The ‘Yuroz Retrospective’ is the first exhibition for the 2008-2009 season. His focus on peace is in keeping with the celebration of International Peace Day in September. The art of Yuroz is both impeccable in its form and its heart, and we are grateful to have him as part of our art family in Coral Springs.”
