“Bliss” is a Yuroz masterpiece that displays the artist’s love of life and playfulness with ferocity. In celebration of the beginning of a bountiful season, the artist presents this cubist composition with traces of impressionist-like brushstrokes, as if he was playing music with his paintbrushes. In this representation of the feeling of bliss, Yuroz unveils two lovers in a portrait of safety, love, and hopefulness as they sit in tandem to soak up the sun’s embrace and connect with life’s vivacity.

The life force of this euphoric moment began outside and above the artist’s canvas.  Angular lines layered with quick and light brushstrokes in warm shades that cascade from the very top center.  The tone deepens and timbre darkens as the musical notes made by his paint brush approach the edge of the canvas, fainting movement with dimensionality, symbolizing a canopy of sun rays draping down from the heaven’s gate.

A glistened dove stood proud at the focal point with soft curves of an almost translucent body and perfectly balanced wings that spread beyond the sides of the frame. Double lines around each wing suggest movement and muscle strength with the scale and strength of a guardian that vows to love and protect.

Masterful use of color and directional lines guide viewers to new revelations.  The red beak of the dove points to the woman and her blue rose.  Here Yuroz flattens the dimension in revealing the curve of the body of the dove as a guide, moving our eyes from the woman to the man just as the blue rose transitions viewers to the blue shirt.  Following the line of the dove’s body, viewers are directed to the man’s tilted head and back to the dove, revealing the perfectly balanced composition of a trinity.  The placement of the dove’s wings with the couple’s head, each leaning outward, creates the symmetrical shape of a heart, and the true focal point of this masterpiece.

The interlocking planes of geometric shapes of the chair, the couple, and the table together form a house-like structure with symbolic walls that shield and protect everything this couple shares.  A noble tree blossoms above the dove’s head with new leaves and two arm-like branches thrusting merrily to reach the sky, symbolizing new life.

Under the glistening light, the peaceful dove, the spirited branches, and the house-like structure are what needs protection and nurture: his pomegranate that carries countless seeds of life as a symbol of productivity and prosperity, his guitar with no strings that serenades and  percusses with the beat of his lover’s heart, and her rose with love language that rhymes.

Yuroz invites viewers to align with this perfect balance and connect with the energy from this couple who radiate peace.  Like a perfect host, he offers up his pomegranates as he tilts the perspective of the fruit bowl ever so slightly in a front-facing position, expressing hospitality from his roots, welcoming your story to proliferate and perpetuate bliss for each life that you touch.
